The new GT F-715 fairway wood features a new Boost Head design, which places a single heavy weight in the back of the sole to increase launch and forgiveness. This can be increased by adding an additional SWS GT Stabilizer weight up to 7g (sold separately) on the inside of the Launch Boost SWS weight. The heavier head, deeper center of gravity will create more energy transfer efficiency and an even wider sweet spot. The fairway-wood features the new GT Variable Hosel Adapter which allows players to change shafts on the fly. The groove sole design which stretches from heel to toe immediately in front of the face, increases the face deflection at impact. The result is faster ball speeds and increased stability thanks to the subtle curve in the groove.
