The new HSW-V Fairway wood is designed to be a high trajectory club that makes hitting great shots more fun. The HSW-V FW uses a high rebound material (conforming) to increase ball speeds and for achieving big distance though carefully designed loft selections and center of gravity design. Forgiving and easier to use make this a high performance fairway wood for all golfers. Having a slightly smaller shape also helps its appeal to better players. The 5th generation of of Geotech's HSW series, the HSW-V FW. By utilizing a GF180 material in the #3 wood, which is harder and stronger than standard face materials like stainless steel (in the 5W, 7W), the HSW-V FW is able to create a face 35% thinner greatly improving rebound performance for the #3 wood. The #5 wood and #7 wood use a variable thickness SUS630 face which help create more of a focus on stability. By incorporating a variable thickness crown design, the HSW-V fw is able move excess weight towards the sole. This allows the center of gravity to shift deeper and further back. This is HSW or Heavy Sole Weight design which the club is named after. Creating the ideal center of gravity for optimal launch and maximum distance.
